This service allows Rwandan citizens who passed the supplementary practical driving test to request a supplementary driving license. The service is provided by Rwanda National Police (RNP).
The processing time of this service is 14 days, and its price is Rwf 10,000.

Applicants with or without an account can apply for this service.

Applicants should have passed the supplementary driving test and given a registration code.
Applicants should have a valid Definitive Driving License.
Applicants should have a valid phone number, email address, or both.
Follow these simple steps to apply for a category update license:
Visit Irembo platform: www.irembo.gov.rw, and under Police, click on Application for Driving License.
Select “Application for Category Update.”
Enter your Registration Code, Collection District, and Pick up Station. The applicant information is displayed, including their marks.
Click Next to proceed.
Verify that the information is true, enter a phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
A billing Number/ID (88…) will be generated for payment, Click Pay

NOTE: After applying and successfully paying via IremboGov, the Applicant receives an SMS/Email notification that the driving license is ready for pickup at the selected pickup station.
