This service enables Rwandan citizens whose Provisional Driving License was lost or damaged to apply for a duplicate. The service is provided by Rwanda National Police (RNP).
The processing time of this service is 21 days and its price is Rwf 5,000.

Applicants must have a national ID and the previous Provisional Driving License number.
After paying for this service, the applicant submits their passport photo photocopy, original National ID, and an application letter to the Commissioner of Traffic Police. For more information, call 118.
Applicants should have a valid phone number, email address, or both.
Follow these simple steps to apply for a Duplicate of a Provisional Driving License:
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and under Police, click on Duplicate of Driving License.
Select “Application for Duplicate of Provisional Driving License” and click on Apply.
Enter your Application Details. The applicant information is displayed on the right side of the page.
Click Next to proceed.
A billing Number/ID (88…) will be generated for payment, Click Pay.
Applicants choose the mode of payment: offline (MTN, Airtel, or BK) or online (Visa or MasterCard). For more information about payment modes, click here.
NOTE: After applying and successfully paying via IremboGov, the applicant submits a passport photo photocopy, original National ID, and an application letter to the Commissioner of Traffic Police and picks up the physical duplicate of the provisional license 21 days after the application.
