This service enables users to make payments related to nationality applications, covering both application fees and nationality granting fees.
The service is provided by the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration and the cost varies depending on the reason for application.

An applicant should have an Identification document number
The applicant should have a valid phone number and an email address.
An applicant must have submitted their Nationality applications to the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration to be allowed to start the payment process.
Follow these steps to pay for the Nationality application.
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and click on Log In to start applying for this service.
Under Immigration And Emigration, click on Rwandan Nationality.
Choose “Nationality Application Payments” under Request Type, and Click on Apply.
Fill in the Applicant’s details, by clicking in the blank space to input the required details (*: means mandatory information).
Enter payment details by selecting “Application Type” and “ Grounds for application” and click next to proceed.
Verify that the information is true, enter a phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click on Submit.
A billing number/ID (88….) will be generated for payment, click Pay.
Applicants choose the mode of payment: offline (MTN, Airtel, or BK) or online (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express). For more information about payment modes, click here.
