How to Apply Rectification of Boundaries and Area Correction

The Rectification of Boundaries and Area Correction service enables landowners to request adjustments to their property boundaries and area measurements. Once the lands are rectified, new e-titles are produced. This service is provided by the National Land Authority (NLA).

The processing time is 25 working days, and the service is free of charge.

  • Applicants should have an Irembo account to apply for this service. Click here to find out how to create an account on IremboGov.

  • Applicants should have a Rwandan National ID number and passports for foreigners or an NPR application number.

  • Rwandans and foreigners should have the land’s Unique Parcel Identifier (UPI).
