This service facilitates the issuance of a recommendation letter to Rwandan diplomats and MINAFFET staff for the official E-passport application. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( MINAFFET) processes and provides the application.
The processing time is 2 Days, and the service is free of charge.

Follow these steps to apply for this service.
1. Go to www.irembo.gov.rw. Under Foreign Affairs Consular Services, select "Issuance of a recommendation letter for a Diplomatic and Service E-Passport.”
2. Click Apply to start a new application.
4. Enter the applicant's details (Passport type and details, marital status, residence details, and employee status).
5. Enter the Passport and Travel Details( the passport type, reason for applying), purpose and destination details.
5. Upload the required documents, then click Next.
6. Verify that the information is true, enter a phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
7. An application number (B2…...) to track your application status
The MINAFFET office will process your application. If approved, you'll receive an email with your recommendation letter attached.
