Applicants need a valid form of identification (Rwandan IDforeign IDrefugee IDpassport number) and a valid phone number and/or email address.


  1. How long does it take to process the Criminal Investigation Clearance Certificate?

The processing time is 3 days from the date of the application.

The certificate varies for 3 months from the date of issuance.
