How to Become an Irembo Agent

Becoming an Irembo agent is a great opportunity to provide essential services in your community. This article acts as a brief step-by-step guide on how to become an agent.

1. Contact one of the Irembo Franchisees.

Franchisees manage Irembo Agents. Different franchisees have different requirements to be a certified agent. Make sure you check them out on their respective websites or get further information when you contact them.

2. Submit an Application

You will be prompted to complete and submit an application form with basically the following details:

  • Personal Details

  • Business Information

  • A copy of your National ID

  • A copy of your Trading License from RDB

  • Criminal Record Certificate

3. Franchisee Field Visit

The franchisee will conduct a field visit to assess your business and operations.

4. Training Program

Once the field visit is successful, the franchisee will provide a 2-week training program to help you understand IremboGov services and processes.

5. Evaluation Quiz

After completing the training, you will take an evaluation quiz administered by the franchisee and Irembo. You must score 90% or higher to receive a certificate.

6. Agent Branding

Finally, the franchisee will provide you with the following branding materials to identify you as an Irembo agent:

  • Jacket

  • NTUYARENZE Tariff

  • Badge

  • Irembo Services Catalog

7. Account Creation

After completing the quiz, you will receive an email informing you that you have been accepted for the agent position on the Irembo platform. The email will contain a link to the Irembo platform, where you can just log in and switch roles to start providing services as an Irembo agent.
