  1. How much do I pay for NGO registration?

The NGO Registration certificate costs Rfw 50,000.

  1. What is the validity of an NGO temporary registration certificate?

The certificate is valid for a period not exceeding nine (9) months from the date the temporary registration certificate is granted.

  1. What are the Organisation Supporting Documents?

The supporting documents for your entity in the registration process are:

  • Authenticated StatutesGoverning the NGO.

  • District Partnership.

  • Meeting Minutes.

  • Action Plan.

  1.  I am not able to attach the Authenticated Statutes Governing the NGO. What can I do?

You can split the statutes into 4 attachments not exceeding 500 kb each, and in PDF format.

  1. How can I get my certificate after it has been approved?

Once the RGB Officer receives and approves your application you will receive your e-certificate via email or by downloading it on Irembo platform. Click here to find out how you can download the certificate on IremboGov.

  1. I applied for the NGO Registration and the certificate is taking longer. What should I do?
